This hanging lamp is formed by a circular, slightly convex white aluminium plate that serves as the reflector of a halogen light source contained in a small hemispherical opaline Murano blown glass diffuser. These elements are connected through two tubular chrome-plated rods, which are repeated outwards from the diffuser. The suspension of the lamp is assured by the moulded black nylon cable guide, a black electrical cord with a hemispherical PVC canopy which initially contained the transformer. In 1986, the 462 version was produced with a larger diameter (62 centimetres) with the little rods in black chrome-plated tubes. The canopy was in heat-pressed aluminium with a toroidal transformer and with a finishing disk in white-painted metal.
