VicoDuo
In 1994, the first Vico chair was produced in collaboration with the Fritz Hansen furniture company and was followed a couple of years later by the VicoDuo project: a collection of stackable chairs along with round, square and rectangular tables. The set features the characteristic organic lines that form the liaison with the first project and, ideally, with the company's historic production that Magistretti skilfully interprets by following in the same track. The chair consists of a very thin moulded birch one-piece shell supported by an aluminium plate on which metal legs are inserted. The collection also includes tables that are protected by thin black rubber borders and rectangular tables mounted on wheels.
