Magistretti was a very good golfer. An American customer asked him to design a set of golf clubs and bag (that he designed in the shape of a horse saddle). The clubs, usually fitted with a metal handle, are entirely in hyper-compressed wood and every club is specifically designed for the shot intended to be made.
