This chaise longue that doubles as a cot features a frame covered with polyurethane foam at the base, upholstered in fabric, which rests on the floor on round wooden feet; a bed with beech slats and a hand-sewn cover with a headrest to comfortably accommodate the body. The folding mechanism enables the metal frame to articulate like a backbone. The design, as indicated by the name, is reminiscent of the chaise longue designed by Charlotte Perriand with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret in 1928, in this case reinterpreted with a focus on transformability and the use of materials.
