Vico + Cleto
The glass table trays made in Murano by Maestro Claudio Tiozzo develop an original formal research evoking organic concepts although they avoid all predominance of decorative elements.
Created by melting a hand-crafted white, black, or two-toned glass slab on a discontinuous surface created by the juxtaposition of hemispherical surfaces placed at different heights from the horizontal plane, the tray assumes an organic configuration resulting from the counter-mould. The glass of the fruit bowl/flower vase is treated to offer different tactile and visual effects: it is shiny in the concave parts and opaque on the base support.
