The Piccy folding chair has a beech structure covered with a tightly stretched cloth. The cloth is double-layered and it is stretched through a rope fastening system. A second version of the chair, has a padded cushion inserted between the two cloth surfaces, both on the seat and on the backrest, which is easily removable along with the cloth to be cleaned. Out of the three junctures of the structures, the front one is free - fixed to a hook - in order to make the opening and closing operations of the chair very simple. The chair was produced by the Ditta Fumagalli of Meda at a price of 4000 Lire. It was exhibited at the RIMA Expo in 1946 and at the Furniture Exhibition at the 8th edition of the Triennale (in "Il mobile singolo" single pieces of furniture section, stand number 6), where it was awarded the Bronze Medal.
