Club
Club is a brass handle with three different finishes in the door version, with rose or plate, for standard windows and for tilt-and-turn windows. The idea of making a leather-clad handle to make it pleasant to touch arose when reasoning on the meaning of comfort. The insight was translated for an "industrial" type of production by designing two thin shells on which is glued a layer of leather, thus giving continuity to the shape but eliminating the seam, which is the part that is typically more prone to become dirty and worn.
"A beautiful worn shoe has a nicer colour than a new shoe. This is the criterion underlying the use of natural leather on the handle. It is more pleasant to touch leather than metal." Vico Magistretti
