Koube

Together with the Simi chair, it was included in the TRESEDIE catalogue by Aidec Tokyo. A tribute to the city of Kobe, from which the NAME Koube was derived, the ash chair plays with the idea of the elasticity conferred by the bend in the backrest that wraps around the seated body like in Poggi's Golem model which was based on Mackintosh's Japanism, and appears to be its formal model of reference especially for its geometric linearity, which is closer to the design of the Koube chair.
