Fiandra
Fiandra was designed by Vico Magistretti and put into production by Cassina in 1975, and features simple and sleek seats whose NAME, Flanders, evokes a "flat country" with its sturdy trade flows and precious fabrics, thus projecting the idea of solidity in the comfort of the seats and of magnificence in the broad variety of upholsteries that range from classical canvas to leather, wool and velvet. The lounge chair, like the sofas, consists of modular elements that are fastened by a metal clamp screwed under the base, and compose linear or angular configurations. The basic elements consist of lounge chairs with or without armrests (right or left) that are available in two widths, while only the lounge chair with two armrests and the matching pouf cannot be attached to the other elements. The cover of the feather-stuffed cushions is fitted with a zipper which makes it removable.
