With Maine, a chair with a high or low backrest, Magistretti paid a tribute to the Shaker chairs, retrieving their design and modernising it. In the De Padova collection, some of these pieces of furniture were introduced in the ?90s, like a chair and a small sofa that in the Maine model, present the traditional hand-woven canvas webbing.
