Double bed of Japanese inspiration for which the designer made the serial production simpler by designing the base of the mattress and the headboard all in wooden slats which replace the mattress base rising uninterruptedly up the headboard and are interconnected by a black grosgrain nylon ribbon. The load-bearing slats are in full board plywood. The bed is solid but also easily transportable thanks to the rear wheels and it can be accessorized with mattresses, linen and Flou cushions, and coordinated with matching bedtables. In the Tadao Maratona version, the width of the headboard stretches beyond the base of the mattress to provide two totally incorporated lateral sideboards that double as bedtables.
