Crimea
Designed with the intention of reinterpreting the old 19th century beds in a contemporary key, it features a light iron structure lacquered with white epoxy paint. The headboard is upholstered in removable fabric and is fitted with separate directable panels to make the back support more comfortable. Slim round-section legs lift the bed off the floor. Transparency and lightness are the features of the canopy, which is designed with a few light and essential strokes, like the curve of the supports. Every part can be disassembled and reconfigured: the folding wood slat system, the mosquito net canopy, which is easily removable in the case of having to move the bed in a different location. The upholstery can be customised with more than 160 different fabrics.
Iron, plywood, brass, fabric. Lacquered white, blue, green, gunmetal grey
