Leone I

This bed is part of a set of beds designed in 1986 that continue to explore the typology of beds with directable headboard and backrest. A series of padded and upholstered cushions/backrests, with a flexible part in elastic webbing, attach to the headboard by means of two L-shaped clasps. The inclination of the backrest can be regulated manually according to the required use (reading, relaxing, working, etc.). The spring-box base is upholstered in removable washable fabric and the headboard is in solid beech wood, designed for a dual version: large single or double. The subsequent Leone II model has a wood slatted base and is complemented with two solid beech wood headboards (natural or lacquered). The accessories for the different models include different upholstery solutions to customise the backrests (elasticised, padded and covered).
