INTERparete® is a modular series of elements that includes chests of drawers, desk tops in two dimensions and cabinets and it was designed for any type of furnishing solution at home or at work. The simplicity of the basic components is the key of the system's flexibility. The core elements of the wall system are the abutments that are connected by shelves and rest on a continuous wainscoting that distributes the load over the floor uniformly. This structure is thus self-supporting and does not need a fixed perimetral connection (the system is compatible with any type of floating floor or false ceiling). The rear fastening panels in the dividing wall are always removable and can be changed with doors by using standard hardware that also acts as a 180° hinge. The wall system offers the possibility of a very broad variety of compositions with a considerable economic saving, unless both ends of the system require flexibility. All the shutters and back panels are in 100% dustproof PVC. The dividing wall, which is particularly suitable for work spaces, is one of the few existing models that operates without connections or end parts either fixed to the floor or to the ceiling. This makes it a truly removable wall although it provides soundproofing similar to a masonry dividing wall. The dividing wall, both opaque or in glass, is designed to lodge all the cables of standard electric or telephone lines which can nonetheless be inspected by simply unfastening and removing the modular closing panels.
