Vulcano

Vulcano is a set of coffee tables designed by Magistretti in 1998 for Fiam featuring a single 10mm slab of crystal float. The table, round or in two rectangular dimensions, is a monolithic object that, in the plasticity of the legs, evokes the elegance of the designer's other projects in plastic material.

The high-temperature melted crystal is subsequently mixed with vitrified oxides to obtain the pearlescent finishing.
