The Erse lamp was designed with the same diffuser and globe already experimented by Magistretti in Omega. The elements are scaled down in dimensions and assembled differently to give life to an elegant table lamp with an internally frosted glass diffuser (already used in Omega and subsequently also in the Clitunno and Clinio lamps) produced by "horizontally removing two slices from a smoked glass sphere placed around an inner opaline globe". The supporting frame consists of a stem inserted in a round matte nickel-plated brass base. Erse was included in the Artemide Modern Classic catalogue in 1999 at the Cologne Furniture Trade Fair: Artemide put back into production 18 lamps, including Erse, that were created in the '60s by some of the most famous Italian designers.
