This project involved the construction of a two floor villa for the Zamboni family on a hillside in the Carimate municipality. The day area on the bigger first floor can be accessed from the road, while a cellar was built in an area nearby. The four bedrooms were designed on the smaller second floor. The big space on the ground floor was occupied by the living room, dining room and studio facing a covered portico leading to the garden. The main vertical element between the two floors was not so much the two internal staircases, but a bridge overlooking the double height living-dining room leading to the bedrooms, one of which was designed as an independent suite.
