Magistretti was commissioned this small summer house in Sardinia by Paolo Arioso for whom he had already designed Casa Arioso, built in the pine grove in Arenzano, and Casa Arioso I, also in Arzachena.
It is a single story building with an extremely accentuated longitudinal plan, two bedrooms, and a small kitchen. The covered patio in front of the house has almost no windows along the minor elevations; natural light falls from four vertical slits in the longer side of the building.
The roof is very similar to the roof of Casa Giovanardi built in the mid-sixties in Portobello di Gallura.
