The project involved the complete restructuring of the day area of an apartment in via Passione, including the redesign of the hall and the living and dining rooms.

The intervention began with the demolition of the partition walls between the rooms so as to create one big space with windows on either side and an impressive circular wall separating and hiding the hall from the dining area (now in a central position); it also separated the entrance to the formal living room, on one side, and a little family area with small armchairs on the other.

The circular wall solution adopted by Magistretti is an obvious homage to the solution proposed in Villa Tugendhet by maestro Mies van der Rohe in the thirties.
